I was really impressed with the movie. I was going in with high expectations and I wasn’t disappointed. The animation was just beyond gorgeous. I also loved the score. It is worth the 10 bucks just to see it for that. I am seriously in love with Merida. She is one of my favorite princesses. I loved her relationship with her parents. I could go on a long rant about how in 2012 we shouldn’t be seeing shit like this but I cannot since I am not surprised. I wish I could be surprised but every freaking company does it. I’m not surprised Scholastics does it. We can just add them to the list that uses gender stereotypes to sell their products.
